The second signer a one-person company never had

You can talk it into anything. Except moving money.

Countersign answers your business phone, reads every payment request, and checks it with a team of AI agents. When something's off, it calls the real vendor back on the number already on file. The AI can talk, but only plain code can release a payment.

The replay

One scam call, start to finish. Everything you'll see really happened.

Case clock waiting for the request

Incoming call+1 (•••) •••-2341→ Countersign · Lumen Labs

A replay of a real case on our test deployment. The voices are the real recordings of both calls: one teammate plays the scammer, and another answers as “Jordan” on Pixel & Pine's number on file. The two calls overlapped: the film plays the caller's side first, then the callback, trimmed at pauses. The case clock shows the real time of the case's own steps.

    The problem

In a real company, nobody can send money alone. A founder working solo has to.

Companies make one person request a payment and another approve it, so a scam has to fool two people. A solo founder is both. They read the invoice and pay it, usually late at night between other jobs. That makes them the easiest target there is.

    • “Our bank changed.” A real vendor's account is hacked, and the request arrives inside a real thread.
    • “Boarding a flight, wire it now.” The boss or a cofounder, faked. Voice cloning makes it a phone call.
    • “Your AWS bill failed.” Lookalike invoices from a domain that's one letter off.
    • “Franchise tax due today.” Fake government and legal notices with a deadline.
    • “Ignore all previous instructions.” Attacks on the AI itself, by text, by voice, or by another agent.

    The agents

Six AI agents can read and talk. Only the lock can decide.

Each agent does one job and sees only what it needs. Even a perfect jailbreak of any of them produces words, never a transfer, because none of them holds the key.

    The lock

18 rules in plain code. The only thing that can say PAY.

The Policy Engine is a pure function: the request and the agents' findings go in, and a decision comes out. It never calls a model or the network, so nothing anyone says on a call or writes in an email can change how it decides. Over 1,000 tests pass on every commit, and every rule has its own.
